Lucy's Friend is this adorable shop that specializes in scrabble tile pendants! But her shop is more than simply selling her pendants because she is a huge advocate of saving adorable kitties. When I first messaged Sharon who operates the shop, I was put in touch with Lucy, the adorable Spokes-Kitty! Lucy had the most adorable story of how her "human" Sharon, saved her and her brother and sister from a dark and stormy night.
Lucys Friend's Etsy shop is full of amazingly cute pendants that feature everything from Kittens to pretty flowers! She can even make your own choice of Scrabble pendant! All Pendants come with a Freeeeee 24” Ball Chain that you can cut to any size with scissors. And perhaps the best thing is that a percentage from every necklace sold will go to the care of My Friends, the other Rescue Kitties. And I absolutely love the gift wrap packaging each scrabble tile comes in!! All Pendants come with a fancy Silk Zipper Gift bag. Best of all the prices are so amazingly reasonable for such amazing peices at only $8 a necklace, you can buy loads and loads of these necklaces for presents or just to treat yourself!
Sharon is so wonderful because she is giving The Giveaway Diva readers free shipping on their purchases, all you need to do is heart Lucys Friends store and when purchasing a pendant: In the note section write Free Shipping from http://www.thegiveawaydiva.blogspot.com/!

Tell us a little bit about yourself:I’ve worn many hats during my adventure through life. I’ve been a Chocolateir and sculpted chocolate for an Art Gallery sculpting life size female legs for a curious line to sculpting scaled down buildings as desert cups. Edible Art just disappears and I wanted my work to stick around so I started working in the Metal Clays. I’m a Level 1 Certified Artisan recently taught a BronzClay class at the Midwest Glass Experience here In St Louis. I’m also on the Board of the St. Louis Lampworkers Society.
When and what made you want to open up your shop? We’ve been rescuing and fostering Kitties for a while. With the fanatical needs escalating with homeless pets Lucy (my kitty) and I decided to do something to help.
Tell us a little bit more about your creation process: Well at this point Lucy is not allowed to help as she keeps getting her fur stuck in the glue.I like sanding the edges on the scrabble tiles then applying many coats of sealant to make them water proof. It’s like magic watching my print come to life after applying the resin. The magnifying resin just makes all the colors pop.
Where do you draw inspiration for all your amazing designs? When Lucy was a baby she never sat still enough for me to get a good photo. So I ended up with just one and decided to build around that one photo. Having a life time interest in cartooning but not having the drawing skills I taught myself to play with the photo editing programs to achieve my cartooning skills. The photo of Lucky was originally one of him walking in my charms. I photoshoped him into inspecting the tiles floating in the water.
If you could be an animal what would you be and why?A cat cause they have unconditional love.
If you could have one super power what would it be and why?The power to help the Homeless People see that they have lives worth living and that someone does care.
Susan and Lucy were so kind to offer an amazing pendant of the winners choice ($8) that also includes a chain, and wrapped up in some pretty gift wrap!
