Love in 90 Days Review and Giveaway (5 copies!)

Even though Valentine's Day has passed, but it is never to early to think about next Valentine's Day, especially if you are single! Sometimes when you are not in a relationship you may lose hope that you will ever find the person that is right for you. Sometimes even if you are dating you may wonder why you are attracting all the wrong types of men. Dr. Diana has written a frank and informative book that will get you up on your feet and empower you with the tools to become a dating success.

LOVE IN 90 DAYS
By Dr. Diana Kirschner, PhD

From the book description:

Finding true love is possible in just 90 days. Renowned clinical psychologist, Dr. Diana Kirschner, uses the latest research, clinical and personal experience to show you how. Dr. Diana knows the questions single women everywhere face: "Why am I attracted to the wrong kind of guys?" "Why is he just not that into me?" "Why can't I seem to find the One?" She also knows the unconscious mistakes that women make over and over again in love-regardless of age, work success, or the type of men they are dating.

Over the years Dr. Diana has received countless inquiries from single women about writing a how-to guide on her work. Love in 90 Days: The Essential Guide to Finding Your Own True Love is that book.

My Review:

Even though I have been with my boyfriend for close to three years, I found that Love in 90 Days was a great read. This would have been an awesome tool when I was single! Love in 90 Days is a great book that is not only fun but is based on the latest research on singles, online dating and healthy relationships. Even though she is Dr. Diana, Diana truly talks to you one on one as if you are confiding to a friend and this close and familiar coziness really reassures you that love can come if you open yourself to it.

I really liked how this book had many different interactive components to it. Loaded with step-by-step instructions, checklists, and weekly homework assignments, this revolutionary love book is also an intensely personal journey for each reader. I also liked how this book was set out so that you can track your progress throughout the weeks and months. Diana dispels common misconceptions about love relationships and dating, and share personal stories from women who have successfully completed the Love in 90 Days Program.

I also love how this book tries to reach out to the modern reader, there is a chapter devoted to the special issues faced by African-American women, single mothers, and women forty-five and older. This really shows us that no matter how bleak your situation may seem you are deserving of love.

1) Then We Came to the End by Joshua Ferris :) I work in an office 40 hours a week, but it is BORING and barely any interaction between coworkers. This book sounds like it would be nice to know that an office job doesn't have to be soooooo boring!
2) Is it a crazy dating experience that I'm 21 years old and I've never been on a date?
3) NEW FOLLOWER! :)

Crazy dating experience - Went on a blind date on Valentine's Day... Nothing went as planned, the restaurant we had planned to go to closed for a water pipe problem - ended up at Lonestar, went bowling and he won and gloated all night about it... But, the real crazy part is that I actually ended up marrying him :)

Crazy dating experience= I had just started dating my finance, and I invited him to a bonfire at one of my friends house. It started to rain on our way there, and he wnted to show off. He took off quickly, (too make it on time) from a red light, and we did a complete 360 and slammed into the ditch. We totaled the truck and I have to say we were inseperable after that night.

One of my crazy dating experiences happened over the summer. I really hit off with this guy who seemed to be really down to earth. We would talk on the phone a lot and everything. The first date was fun, and the second date was a disaster. He invited me to a friend's cookout and completely ignored me by sitting with this one of his guys throughout the whole "date" and talking to him instead. After several hours of no talking, I finally sent him a text and told him to take me home! :)

I love to read true crime, and it looks like there are quite a few titles at Hachette Book Group. One that I'd love to read is Angel of Darkness-The True Story of Randy Kraft.

1) I would love to read Honey B's Married on Mondays. Honey B aka Mary B. Morrison is one of my favorite authors. Her books are always entertaining and juicy!

2) Crazy dating experience- My bestfriend & I went on a double date. The two cheapos took us to IHOP. I got into an argument with her date, which resulted in us getting kicked out of IHOP. She drove all of us & insisted that she still take them back home. They insulted us the entire way and then had the nerve to ask her to stop at a gas station. She stopped; they went inside the store; I threw all of their stuff out of the window and demanded her to step on the gas! Nobody puts "Baby" in a corner!

4) I am an old follower of your blog.

7)I am now following you on twitter.

9) I am about to enter another giveaway right now.

+1, I would love to read Drood!

+2, I met this guy off a dating website (The Nerve, way back in the day when I lived in New York) and invited him back into my dorm for a drink, and just to chat before heading out. He pushed me down on the bed and pinned me to it, pulled a pocket knife out, flicked it, put it to my throat and told me that I shouldn't trust strangers, that it would be this easy for me to die. And then he got up and left. I stopped meeting guys off the internet, lol, so I guess it did sink in.

+4, New follower.
