Often times it is hard to find a really nice prom dress when you have to go searching for it. I have had that experience already and it's difficult to have to go to countless prom and wedding dress shops to find the right dress. Also there is the fear that you might end up with the same dress as someone else. I know the chance that something like that occurring is quite slim, but still it's not unheard of! And lots of people buy tons of things off the internet so why not your prom dress as well? I know the thought of buying something as important as a prom dress may be a scary thought but seriously the headache that you will avoid is well worth it!
The amazing selection at promgirl.net allows for you to avoid the crazy crowds and to shop at the comfort of your own home! Also some may be worried about the sizing of the dress and be reluctant about not being able to know if it will fit properly or not, but promgirl.net makes this easy by providing in depth fitting charts to ensure that there will be a proper fit. They boast the largest collection online of short prom dresses which in my personal opinion are the best since you don't need to alter them at all. I remember for my grad I had to get my dress altered because I'm a shorty!
Promgirl.net is also a very proud sponsor of many big events. Hayley Mac won the title of Miss Galaxy UK 2009-2010 and Miss Galaxy International 2009-2010 and she wore amazing dresses that was sponsored by Clarisse which is a featured designer on promgirl.net!
I was blown away by the selection of dresses from promgirl.net and how they were affordable since they didn't have the high mark up price that you would have to pay if you bought it at a prom or wedding dress store.
Promgirl.net is a one stop shop for all your prom needs because they also offer a great selection of prom shoes and jewelry so that you can get all your prom shopping out of the way! They also have a great sale section and even have a section of prom dresses under $100! Perfect for the girls on a budget.
The lovely people over at promgirl.net was kind enough to allow for me to review one of their amazing dresses!! I was so happy that I was offered the chance because I actually had my grad dinner and dance to go to so it was perfect timing.
At first I was afraid that I wouldn't get the chance to wear the dress to my grad dinner and that I would have to find another dress because I cut it kind of close, but I was so happy not to mentioned relieved when the dress arrived! They have awesome shipping times that are quick and allows for your dress to be quickly shipped to your location. Great news for those who put things off to the last minute! The dresses came neatly wrapped so that the dress wasn't crushed or damaged in any way.
The dress that I had the pleasure of trying was off their Top 10 Prom Dresses page which means it is one of promgirl.net 's most best selling dresses! The dress that I got to review was the beautiful Prom Dress 9031 by Clarisse in gold! This amazing dress is also available in turquoise and both colours are beautiful. This dress has a lovely sweetheart shaped neckline that is covered with sequins, has a gathered empire sash and features many layers of tulle! The back of the dress features a large sized bow. I was worried that the dress would not fit but the fitting chart was easy to work with and when I tried on the dress for the very first time I breathed a sigh of relief because it fit perfectly! I followed the easy to measure guidelines and they have a fit guide for each designer since some designers may use different fit models. I was very impressed with the prom dress that I received and fell in love with it as soon as I took it out of the wrapper and hanger. The dress came with straps that are removable just in case I didn't want to go with the strapless look. The details are just amazing and I loved the colour of it! On the website pictures the dress looks more of a lighter gold but the dress is actually a more darker and warmer gold. I think it looked really good with my skin tone and helped bring out a tan! I love the poofiness of the dress and how it fell, all the tulle made for a nice effect. I also loved it mainly because it was very forgiving and I didn't have to starve myself in order to fit into it! It hides flaws! My favorite parts of the dress would have to be the sequin bodice as well as the amazing bow in the back! I loved how the bow was so unique and instead of sitting like most bows it was on its side.
When I wore it to my grad night, everyone loved my dress! I got a lot of remarks that it reminded them of the Beauty and the Beast dress but a shorter version! I really felt like a princess and felt so special wear the dress! It was an amazing dress for an amazing night! I truly felt that my dress made it a very special night. Also as you can notice the dress has a slight shimmer to the tulle which looked great in the lighting.
