Sunkissed in November: Guerlain Terracotta Sun Powder

Winter signals the start of PSS or the dreaded Pale Skin Syndrome! Now I’m deathly afraid of the damage that tanning beds can have on your skin but I love the glow of a fresh tan, so Guerlain’s Terracotta Pearly Shell-Illuminating Sun Powder has come to my rescue. It is one of my favorite bronzers and it adds a light sunkissed touch to your makeup.
Guerlain has hit a high note with this incarnation of their legendary bronzing powder; incorporating everything we love about summer into a shinny compact that just screams chic! I love how this powder goes on smoothly and evenly giving you a sexy beach goddess glow and not the ompa lumpa look!

The powder is shaped as a shell and glistens with a mild dusting of sparkle that gives great definition to cheekbones. Although it seems as if the sparkles seem a bit much when you first open the package, it will gradually come off with a few swipes of your brush. So no worries about looking like a disco ball. I love the blendability of this bronzer and it goes on light, but if you want to achieve a more pronounced look it is quite easy to build upon by layering.

The power is second to none; it is sheer enough so that it will go well with any skin tone yet still maintains its staying power. It a very subtle shade but it brings the colour back to your cheeks that the bitter cold has stolen. In my opinion, Guerlain has another winner to add to its already large roster of coveted products!

Now at $65 it may seem a tad bit on the pricey side, but Guerlain is known for their amazing quality, luxe packaging and hey it sure beats paying for a trip to an exotic location in order to achieve the same sunkissed glow. This is from their older collection but they still have other amazing bronzers!
