I am a huge James Patterson fan! All it took was one book and I am hooked for life! I swear it's like a drug I literally think about reading a Patterson book if I don't finish it and I can't sleep when I'm immersed in the pages of his latest thriller. Hey but I'm not alone in my addiction to James Patterson's addicting thrillers in fact his bio speaks for itself:

My Review:

Seriously I don't think Patterson could ever write a novel that is boring. As you read the different series you really get to know the main character and their families so well! I have read all the books in the Micheal Bennett series and I'm so happy that I got to review Tick Tock.

This is the 4th book in James Patterson's Michael Bennett series and as soon as it arrived at my door I had to read it! I mean I couldn't put it down until I was done! Luckily it was a Saturday so I could stay up late to finish it!

The plot had so many wonderfully surprising twists, that it kept me wanting to read more and more - what Patterson reader's tend to call the just-one-more-chapter syndrome! Tick Tock is a race against the clock...someone has a mission to reenact crimes of history and they are targeting Micheal Bennett. And to make matters worse he's in the middle of a vacation with his ten children!! As a New York City Detective vacations are few and far between and it was interesting to see how he managed to juggle the two.

Micheal's life is further complicated in the fact that he is caught up in a romantic with Emily Parker, the FBI agent he has worked with in the past and is currently in NYC to help with the current case and Mary Catherine who happens to be his children's nanny!! Definitely complicated!

The final showdown is intense and you won't beleive what goes down! My heart was pounding and I won't tell you what might or may not happen but what I will tell you is that it's a great read!

I would definitely recommend Tick Tock or any other James Patterson book for that matter! Thanks to Brad and The Hachette Book Group for providing me with a copy to review!

My Review:

I was so lucky to receive the lovely Red and Black Polka Dot Large Tote from Miss Lucy's Monograms to do a review on!

I loved the wrapping! It was so bright and cheerful and I loved the paw print sticker.


I decided to go with the white thread because I felt that it would let the monogramming pop more and I was right! The monogramming is beautiful and the tote is quite strong and sturdy.


The tote closes with a tie string so it allows for easy access and it also has a built in coin purse. This tote would be perfect for carting to the market and this would get rid of your need for plastic bags. But if you were carrying such a fashionable tote you wouldn't want to be carrying plastic bags anyways. The tote is large enough to accommodate all of your groceries and the handles are nice and plush so that you won't hurt your shoulder!


I have just picked up knitting and I find that this is the perfect bag to store all of my yarn, needles and knitting books! Falling In Love With: DownEast Basics Giveaway

When I found out I got to discover what great items DownEast Basics has to offer I was so thrilled! They have such a great selection of drop dead cute cardigans and flirty dresses.

I finally settled upon the Bling Boot Fit Jeans. I love me a little bling so I knew that these jeans would be perfect for me!! The Bling Boot Fit Jeans retails for only $54.99 but the details and the quality makes it look like a pair that is worth so much more


I received the jeans and unfortunately they were a bit too baggy on me I guess I should have went with the size 0 instead of the size 2! But it wasn't a problem since I decided to give them to my mom instead! Luckily they fit her really well and she looked great in them!

I love the detailing on the back pocket, with a great design embroidered on the back pocket, and how the pockets have a giant rhinestone button on the flap. If you're like me and you weren't blessed with junk in the trunk, jeans with flap pockets are an essential to making you look like you have a bit more curves!

As you can see the front of the jeans also has great whiskering detail and I like that the jeans are a dark rinse. I have given up light coloured jeans in favor of darker washes since darker washed jeans are a tad bit more sophisticated. The jeans also has a great white stitching in the inside of the jeans which adds for a nice contrast!
