Christmas is just around the corner!! As scary as that may sound if you do your shopping early you won't have to worry about stressing out when there are only a few days left to shop! Also if you start early then you won't have to worry about not getting the most perfect gift!
For my first post in the Stylish Holiday Event I wanted to introduce you to this amazing shop on Etsy called Marcella Leone Jewelry! There is a huge trend of statement jewelry that truly embrace colours and the mixture of it! Although I love the look of Tom Binns and Dannijo Jewelry, I hate that it can get so expensive so Marcella Leone is a great and affordable way to get the look I love for a price that's great!
Jessica is the amazing talent behind Marcella Leone Jewelry and the shop features amazing one of a kind (or OOAK for those of you in the know) jewelry that is lovingly handcrafted by Jessica. The whole process behind each of her creations is so time consuming and meticulous that I'm surprised that she can offer such high quality pieces for the prices that she does. In fact I thought that they would be so much more!
Jessica finds and collects vintage rhinestone earrings that may look gaudy and dated at first, but after she paints each stone with several coats of paint in fun neon colours they look anything but your Grandmother's earrings. She also seals the paint with a high quality sealer to ensure that the paint will not fade or chip! I love Jessica's eye for colour and she seems to pick the perfect colour combinations to create bold and fresh looks.
Marcella Leone features hand painted earrings and necklaces that make a statement and also features amazing bracelets that are perfect for stacking. I love that for some of her earrings that come with the original clip backs, but if you prefer them to be pierced Jessica will gladly modify them according to what works best for you!
Jessica was so kind to send over two of her amazing Marcella Leone earrings to do a review on! Each piece comes in a craft box that will be great for easy wrapping as well as for storage.
These are the two earrings that I was sent from Marcella Leone! Aren't they lovely!
Here is a closeup of the earrings so that you can see the detailing of the earrings and how the paint on them looks close up. As you can see the paint has a bit of a shimmer to it, but for the most part the stones are a solid almost opaque look.
I love that Jessica chose to go with a more muted colour selection of black with a lavender colour with a bright pop of neon yellow acting as a contrast.
I love the use of pastel green and pink for the larger stones with the brighter blue being used to not only frame the larger stones but also adding a brighter pop of color (or POC as I like to call it)
If you love the amazing jewelry from Marcella Leone as much as I do head on over to see what other amazing pieces are in her collection! Also check back for an awesome giveaway that I will be hosting soon where one reader will win a pair of earrings from Marcella Leone!
